Basketball Recap: Northeast Comes Up Short

Northeast was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 62-44 bruising from the Pleasanton Blu-Jays. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blu-Jays this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 47-30 two weeks ago.

Northeast's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Pleasanton, their win bumped their record up to 7-8.

Looking ahead, Northeast is taking a road trip to take on Erie at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Erie will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Northeast surely won't give up without a fight. As for Pleasanton, they will look to defend their home court on February 21st against Bronaugh at 8:00 p.m.
