Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lambert). They put the hurt on the Forsyth Central Bulldogs with a sharp 81-57 victory on Tuesday. Given the Longhorns' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 86th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 306th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lambert's win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-5. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.9 points per game. As for Forsyth Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.

Lambert is taking a road trip to challenge Denmark at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Forsyth Central, they will host West Forsyth at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
