Lamar piles up the points against Custer County

Recap: Lamar Thunder vs. Custer County Bobcats
The Lamar Thunder posted their biggest victory yet this season on Thursday. They blew past Custer County 55-18 at home. With Lamar ahead 33-9 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Lamar found their leader in underclassman Gabrian Jacobs, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jacobs has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Austin Thacker, who scored four points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Lamar's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-3. As for Custer County, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lamar the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome St. Mary's at 6:00 p.m. on January 25th. Custer County will take on Cotopaxi at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Cotopaxi has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
