Squalicum has gone a perfect 6-0 against Mt. Baker recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Storm will head out on the road to square off against the Mountaineers at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Tuesday, Squalicum came up short against Nooksack Valley and fell 3-1. The Storm haven't had much luck with the Pioneers recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Meanwhile, Mt. Baker lost 3-0 to Lynden on Monday.

Mt. Baker's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5-1. As for Squalicum, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Everything went Squalicum's way against Mt. Baker in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as Squalicum made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Storm since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
