Basketball Game Preview: Antelope Titans vs. Cordova Lancers

Antelope has gone 3-0 against Cordova recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Antelope Titans will venture away from home to challenge the Cordova Lancers at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, Antelope came up short against West Park and fell 60-52. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Titans came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 172nd, while the Panthers are ranked 360th).

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Malichai Brown, who posted 12 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Andre Brooks, who had 12 points and three steals.

Meanwhile, Cordova was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They took a 52-35 bruising from Vista del Lago.

Antelope's record is now 17-7. As for Cordova, their record now sits at 1-19.

Everything came up roses for Antelope against Cordova in their previous meeting back in January, as the team secured a 77-28 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Antelope since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
