Softball Recap: Wayne County Comes Up Short

Wayne County couldn't beat Southwestern on Tuesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the sixth inning. The Cardinals took a 12-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-6 on Monday.

Wayne County now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Southwestern, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-7 record this season.

Wayne County has already played their next game (against Pickett County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Southwestern also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Somerset Christian.
