Soccer Game Preview: Rosamond vs. Bishop Union

The Rosamond Roadrunners will venture away from home to challenge the Bishop Union Broncos at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rosamond is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

Friday just wasn't the day for Rosamond's offense. 2025 welcomed they with a 5-0 loss courtesy of Liberty on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Roadrunners can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 734th, while the Patriots are ranked 100th).

Meanwhile, Bishop Union unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak back in December of 2024. Neither they nor Mammoth could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw. There's a chance things could've gone differently had the Broncos not been charged with a red card from Aiden Esparza.

Milton Michel and Hector Ramirez scored both of Bishop Union's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Rosamond's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9-1. Bishop Union's draw makes their record 4-1-1 this season.
