Flag Football Recap: Smoky Hill Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Smoky Hill's offense. They were outmatched by the Mullen Mustangs and fell 40-0. The Buffaloes lost against the Mustangs in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 14-6 score last time.

Smoky Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Mullen, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season.

Smoky Hill didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 32-0 loss against Arapahoe on the 30th. As for Mullen, they have also already played their next contest, a 26-19 defeat against Columbine on the 29th.
