Basketball Recap: Mansfield Comes Up Short

Mansfield was the 55-49 winner over Franklin when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Mansfield Hornets received a blow on Wednesday as they fell 48-32 to the Franklin Panthers. The contest marked the Hornets' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Mansfield and nudges their season record down to 4-4. As for Franklin, they pushed their record up to 4-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Mansfield has already played their next game (against Oliver Ames), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Franklin has also has no score uploaded for their next matchup, this one against King Philip Regional.
