1A West (8 Man) Top Player Performances of the Week

Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances across Friday and Saturday's football action (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!

Angel Hipolito Crosses Big Stat Threshold

Virginia City was led to victory by Angel Hipolito, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Saturday. Hipolito rushed for 333 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 10.4 yards per carry. Thanks to that strong showing, he's now averaging 2.2 rushing touchdowns per game. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in October of 2023.

Hipolito must have Mineral County's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Hipolito saw the Serpents), he rushed for 162 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.1 yards per carry, and also caught a touchdown.

Mineral County Gets a Boost from Reeves in 48-27 Defeat

Chase Reeves posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Saturday. He rushed for 146 yards on only 11 carries, and also threw for 108 yards and three touchdowns. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last five games he's played dating back to last season.

Virginia City's probably not too fond of Reeves given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Reeves saw the Muckers), he rushed for 125 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries, and also threw for 117 yards on five of 24 attempts.
