Basketball Recap: Livingston Central Find Success

Livingston Central hadn't done well against Carlisle County recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Livingston Central Cardinals came out on top against the Carlisle County Comets by a score of 47-34. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 48-36 back in January.

The victory made it two in a row for Livingston Central and bumps their season record up to 9-14. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.0 points over those games. As for Carlisle County, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Livingston Central will venture away from home to challenge Ballard Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Carlisle County, they will face off against Graves County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Graves County will roll in looking for their 23rd straight win, something Carlisle County surely won't give up without a fight.
