Soccer Recap: Carson Comes Up Short

Carson and Central Cabarrus pushed the score to 7-3 the last time they played Central Cabarrus, but on Friday defenses reigned supreme. The Cougars fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 1-0. Carson haven't had much luck with Central Cabarrus recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Carson's loss dropped their record down to 10-10-1. As for Central Cabarrus, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3-1 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carson will take on Mount Pleasant at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Central Cabarrus, they will host Butler at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
