Baseball Recap: Carroll County Comes Up Short

Carroll County couldn't beat Western Hills on Friday even though they stacked five runs on them in the first inning. The Panthers fell 11-6 to the Wolverines. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly five runs.

Bryce Furnish was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Dalton Wilson was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Carroll County is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-8. As for Western Hills, they moved to 6-15-1 with that victory, which also ended their ten-game losing streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carroll County will host Henry County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Western Hills, they will be playing at home against Boyle County at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
