Volleyball Game Preview: Pender Patriots vs. North Brunswick Scorpions + How To Watch

Pender is on a three-game streak of home losses, and North Brunswick a four-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Monday. The Pender Patriots will host the North Brunswick Scorpions at 6:00 p.m. Pender will be strutting in after a win while North Brunswick will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with seven losses in a row, Pender turned things around against Southwest Onslow on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Stallions.

The win didn't come easy: Southwest Onslow scored at least 20 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 20-25, 25-20, 25-21.

Meanwhile, North Brunswick came up short against Ashley on Tuesday and fell 3-1.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-16, 19-25, 25-21.

North Brunswick's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Pender, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 5-13.
