Recap: Faith Academy Rams vs. Eufaula Tigers
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Faith Academy Rams, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They were dealt a 41-14 defeat at the hands of Eufaula on Friday. Faith Academy's defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.
When it comes to explaining why Faith Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Edwin King. Despite the final result, he rushed for 169 yards and a touchdown.
Faith Academy's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Eufaula, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.
Faith Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Eufaula will face off against Demopolis at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Alabama (Demopolis is ranked 79th, while Eufaula is ranked 63rd).
