Softball Recap: West Rowan Extends Home Winning Streak to Six

While West Rowan's win against Lake Norman Charter wasn't quite the blowout they won the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The West Rowan Falcons narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Lake Norman Charter Knights 13-11. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

West Rowan let Reese Poole and EA Nance run wild. Poole scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances, while Nance went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Ava Baxter, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and one stolen base.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: West Rowan lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lake Norman Charter didn't launched any home runs.
