Basketball Game Preview: Corner Canyon Chargers vs. Bingham Miners

The Corner Canyon Chargers will take on the Bingham Miners at 9:30 a.m. on Monday. Corner Canyon will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Corner Canyon is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 65-45 margin over Mountain Ridge. Given the Chargers' advantage in MaxPreps' Utah basketball rankings (they are ranked seventh, while the Sentinels are ranked 45th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Bingham earned a 70-63 victory over Pleasant Grove on Friday. The Miners haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Corner Canyon's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.0 points over those games. As for Bingham, their win bumped their record up to 17-7.
