Basketball Recap: Lake View Comes Up Short

Lake View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss. They had to suffer through a 62-26 loss at the hands of the Snyder Tigers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chiefs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 54-29 back in January.

Lake View's defeat dropped their record down to 2-25. As for Snyder, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-22.

Lake View and Snyder could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Lake View (ranked 1272nd) will meet Estacado (ranked 240th) at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Snyder will challenge Levelland at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday down 611 places (722 vs. 111).
