Filer and Gooding are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2021, but likely not for long. The Filer Wildcats will head out on the road to square off against the Gooding Senators at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Filer is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Brayden Cowger was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Corbin Lewis, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2.
Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought match, but Gooding had to settle for an 11-10 defeat against Wendell on Tuesday. Gooding has not had much luck with Wendell recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Butch Morris and Wick Church stepped up to the plate in a big way. Morris went 3-for-4 with a triple, a run, and a double, while Church scored a run while going 2-for-3. Eli Esterbrook was another key contributor, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and a double.
Even though they lost, Gooding was hitting in the alleys and finished the game with five doubles. That's the most doubles they've managed all season.
