Flag Football Game Preview: Grandview Wolves vs. Cherry Creek Bruins + How To Watch

The Grandview Wolves will face off against the Cherry Creek Bruins at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Grandview comes in on nine and Cherry Creek on six.

Grandview is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. Their defense stepped up to hand Smoky Hill a 54-0 shutout on Saturday. Considering the Wolves have won six matchups by more than 19 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Abby Kirkpatrick was her usual excellent self, picking up 74 receiving yards and a pair of TDs, while also throwing for 18 yards and one touchdown. Another player making a difference was Brooke Sullivan, who threw for 104 yards and three touchdowns.

Another reason for the win was Grandview's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for seven sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Jayden Schwabauer and Brynn Godwin, who racked up four sacks between them. Sullivan got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Cherry Creek was able to grind out a solid win over Arapahoe on Saturday, taking the game 14-6.

Grandview's record now sits at 10-3. As for Cherry Creek, their record is now 9-3.

Grandview took a serious blow against Cherry Creek in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, falling 40-6. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Bruins' Addy Beck, who threw for 249 yards and four TDs, and also rushed for 55 yards and one score. Now that the Wolves know the damage she can cause, will they be able to stop her this time? There's only one way to find out.
