Alabama Christian Academy had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. Everything went their way against the Handley Tigers as they made off with a 14-1 win. With that victory, the Eagles brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.

Izzy Warrick made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. What's more, she posted three RBI, the most she's had since back in May of 2024.

In other batting news, Madolyn Traywick was incredible, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2. Campbell Hammett also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Alabama Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .533. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

The win got Alabama Christian Academy back to even at 5-5. As for Handley, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.
