After low-scoring totals in their previous five match, General McLane brought some dynamite into their most recent matchup. They put the hurt on the Mercer Mustangs with a sharp 7-2 win on Wednesday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for General McLane as it put an end to their five-match losing streak.

Their offense was hitting Mercer from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Avianna Culver led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

General McLane's win bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Mercer, with the loss, they broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 11-3.
