Softball Recap: Fulshear Comes Up Short

Fulshear managed to slip by Pearland the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Chargers came up short against the Oilers on Saturday, falling 9-2. The Chargers' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Fulshear saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ava Galaviz, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI. Brooke Boerger also deserves some recognition as she got her first hits of the season.

Fulshear's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9-1. As for Pearland, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-1.

Coming up, Fulshear will take on Tomas at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pearland has already played their next contest (against Tompkins), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
