Cross County came tearing into Thursday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Bay Yellowjackets as they made off with a 15-7 win. That's more bragging rights for the Thunderbirds, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The victory got Cross County back to even at 8-8. As for Bay, they dropped their record down to 3-13 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home.
