Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Eisenhower). They breezed by the Aldine Mustangs to the tune of 62-6 on Tuesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Eagles as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Eisenhower got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Alyirah Lee out in front who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine steals. What's more, Lee also racked up two assists, the most she's had since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Rayonna Tates, who posted 17 points and three steals.

Eisenhower's victory bumped their record up to 2-15. As for Aldine, their defeat was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-16.

Eisenhower and Aldine could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Eisenhower (ranked 1375th) will meet Westfield (ranked 265th) at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Aldine (ranked 1470th) will meet Spring (ranked 687th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
