Basketball Recap: Aurora Takes a Loss

Aurora was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a hard 69-53 fall against the Barberton Magics. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Greenmen of the 57-48 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.

Aurora's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Barberton, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Aurora and Highland will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Highland's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. Barberton will take on Cuyahoga Falls in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
