Softball Recap: Carlisle Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Carlisle's offense. They lost 18-0 to the Harleton Wildcats on Friday. The defeat leaves the Indians still looking for their first win of the season.

Carlisle's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Harleton, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carlisle will square off against Overton at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Overton will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Carlisle surely won't give up without a fight. We've got a battle between Wildcats coming up. Waskom has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.25 runs per game on average), something Harleton will no doubt try to take advantage of.
