Argyle is a perfect 9-0 against Grapevine since November of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Eagles will venture away from home to square off against the Mustangs at 2:45 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

Argyle is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Richland: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Eagles blew the Royals out of the water with a 58-18 final score. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Royals recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Grapevine not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since November 15th (when they won 47-25). They blew past Colleyville Heritage 49-27. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Mustangs' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 168th, while the Panthers are ranked 372nd).

Grapevine's victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Argyle, their win bumped their record up to 17-3.

Argyle took their victory against Grapevine when the teams last played back in January by a conclusive 43-17 score. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Mustangs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
