Softball Preview: Luverne Cardinals vs. Windom Eagles
The Luverne Cardinals will head out on the road to challenge the Windom Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Luverne sitting on five straight victories and Windom on six.
Luverne can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. They were the clear victor by an 11-4 margin over Edgerton/Southwest Minnesota Christian.
Luverne let Elizabeth Smidt and Payton Behr loose on the outfield. Meanwhile, Windom stacked a third blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 13-2 margin over Worthington.
