Baseball Recap: Wheat Ridge Takes a Loss

The Wheat Ridge Farmers came up short against the Montbello Warriors on Tuesday and fell 6-3.

Wheat Ridge saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Shane Linder, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Wheat Ridge's loss was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Montbello, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-5.

Wheat Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 11-6 defeat against Aurora Central on the 27th. As for Montbello, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 6-0 victory against Skyview on the 31st.
