Soccer Recap: Travis Takes a Loss

Travis lost against Northeast Early College back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Travis Rebels came up short against the Northeast Early College Raiders, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, the Rebels can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 772nd, while the Raiders are ranked 131st).

Travis has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's still a better percentage than their 3-17-2 record this season. Northeast Early College pushed their record up to 16-2 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Travis will square off against Lago Vista at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Northeast Early College, they will take on Florence at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
