Football Recap: Fowler Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Fowler was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were outmatched by the Sanford Mustangs and fell 50-18. The Grizzlies were not able to make up for their defeat to the Mustangs from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Although Fowler took the loss, they still got scores from Demetrius Alvarez, Brock True, and Garrett Pharr.

Fowler's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Sanford, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Fowler and Sanford will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Grizzlies see the field they'll take on Sangre de Cristo at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. As for Sanford, their break will end when they face Norwood at 7:00 p.m. on October 3.
