Laredo LBJ extended their winning streak (dating back to last season) to six on Thursday, bumping them up to 5-0. They came out on top against the Del Rio Rams by a score of 28-21. 28 seems to be a good number for the Wolves as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

Vicente Robles continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 76 yards and a pair of TDs, while also throwing for 262 yards and two touchdowns while completing 75.9% of his passes. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (125.9). Ivan Gonzalez was Robles' top target, picking up 85 receiving yards and one score.

As for Del Rio, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. On the bright side, the 21- point performance marked their highest-scoring contest to date.

Despite the loss, Del Rio still got an impressive performance from Jayden Mendoza, who rushed for 21 yards and a pair of TDs, and also threw for 109 yards and one touchdown on only ten passes.
