Volleyball Game Preview: Winchester Red & Black vs. Lexington Minutemen

Winchester has gone 8-2 against Lexington recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Red & Black will head out to square off against the Minutemen at 5:30 p.m. Winchester is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

On Friday, Winchester earned a 3-1 win over Wakefield Memorial.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-13, 23-25, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Lexington didn't have quite enough to beat Melrose on Friday and fell 3-2.

Lexington wouldn't go down easily and took Melrose into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking seven-point loss. The final score came out to 25-21, 23-25, 21-25, 25-5, 15-8.

Lexington dropped their record down to 6-6 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Winchester, their victory bumped their record up to 11-0.

Winchester took their win against Lexington in their previous meeting back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red & Black since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
