Waupaca had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Waterloo Pirates. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Comets have posted since September 20th.

Peyton Carlson paced Waupaca's offense, picking up 18 kills. Carlson got some help from Taylor Kling and her 19 assists. Hailey Bechard controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Waupaca's victory bumped their record up to 18-10. As for Waterloo, the loss snapped their winning streak at 11 matches and leaves them with a 16-5 record.

Waupaca has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Lake Country Lutheran on the 27th. As for Waterloo, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Oostburg on the 27th.
