Recap: Timothy Christian Trojans vs. Lisle Lions
The Timothy Christian Trojans were the 67-50 winner over the Lisle Lions when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Timothy Christian took a 49-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lisle on Friday. Timothy Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Elisabeth Van Den Berg and Sami Drye certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Van Den Berg dropped a double-double on 14 points and 15 rebounds, while Drye scored 19 points along with three steals. Taylor Parker was another key contributor, scoring four points along with four steals.
Timothy Christian has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-15 record this season. As for Lisle, their win bumped their record up to 16-9.
Timothy Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Lisle will head out on the road to square off against Wilmington at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Wilmington is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
