Soccer Game Preview: Grace Davis vs. Central Valley

The Grace Davis Spartans will venture away from home to face off against the Central Valley Hawks at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Grace Davis is headed into Tuesday's following a draw, the team's first since December 7. They and Johansen finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Thursday.

Grace Davis' goal came courtesy of Aarush Singh, who's now up to six this season.

Meanwhile, on ThursdayCeres kept up with Central Valley until halftime, but afterwards: not so much. Central Valley's defense stepped up to hand Ceres a 3-0 shutout. Given the Hawks' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 161st, while the Bulldogs are ranked 524th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win made it two in a row for Central Valley and bumps their season record up to 10-5-6. Grace Davis' draw gives them a new season record of 7-10-2.

Grace Davis suffered a grim 5-1 defeat to Central Valley in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. Can Grace Davis avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
