Baseball Game Preview: Roswell Coyotes vs. Clovis Wildcats

The Roswell Coyotes will square off against the Clovis Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither Roswell nor Clovis posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Roswell lost 7-1 to Carlsbad on Friday. That's two games in a row now that the Coyotes have lost by exactly six runs.

Roswell saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Savino Sanchez, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Meanwhile, Clovis didn't have quite enough to beat Hobbs on Friday and fell 3-2.

Roswell has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season. As for Clovis, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-11.
