Baseball Recap: LAMP Comes Up Short

LAMP was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost an 11-9 heartbreaker at the hands of the Trinity Presbyterian Wildcats. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Golden Tigers have suffered against the Wildcats since February 28, 2022.

LAMP's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Trinity Presbyterian, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-5.

LAMP has already played their next matchup (against Wetumpka), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Trinity Presbyterian, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 6-5 victory against Sapulpa on the 17th.
