Baseball Game Preview: Fallbrook Warriors vs. Oceanside Pirates

The Fallbrook Warriors are headed away from home for the first time to challenge the Oceanside Pirates at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Fallbrook came into this matchup off a tough ten-run defeat on Saturday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of San Dieguito Academy by a score of 7-5 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Warriors have suffered since April 3, 2025.

Titus Hansen was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. Waylon Puikunas was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Oceanside owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Tuesday. They walked away with a 5-0 victory over La Jolla. The win continues a trend for the Pirates in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won three in a row.

Oceanside's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Fallbrook, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
