It was a good run, but Odessa unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 44-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lawson Cardinals. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Cardinals from their previous meeting back in December of 2018.

Odessa's loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 8-2. As for Lawson, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-3.

Odessa is taking a road trip to challenge St. Paul Lutheran at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lawson, they will take on Savannah at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
