Volleyball Recap: Hartsville Takes a Loss

Hartsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Gray Collegiate Academy War Eagles.

Despite the loss, Hartsville still got an impressive performance from Ava Wilcox, who had ten digs and two aces.

Hartsville's loss dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Gray Collegiate Academy, with the victory, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 10-3.

Hartsville has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against St. James on the 27th. As for Gray Collegiate Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Academic Magnet on the 27th.
