Softball Game Preview: West Haven Blue Devils vs. Sacred Heart Academy

The West Haven Blue Devils will take on Sacred Heart Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. West Haven is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.

On Friday, West Haven came up short against Guilford and fell 8-4.

Meanwhile, Sacred Heart Academy had to endure a nine-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past Lauralton Hall 16-3 on Thursday. Sacred Heart Academy's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Sacred Heart Academy picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-9. As for West Haven, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8.

West Haven came out on top in a nail-biter against Sacred Heart Academy in their previous matchup back in April, sneaking past 2-0. Will the Blue Devils repeat their success, or do Sacred Heart Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
