Steeleville won the last time they faced Dupo and things went their way on Thursday too. The Warriors walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Tigers. The win was familiar territory for the Warriors, who have now won five contests in a row.

Parker Fiene made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (three). He was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.

In other batting news, Steeleville let Carson Rednour and Braden Middendorf run wild. Rednour went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and two RBI, while Middendorf went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Those two RBI gave Rednour a new career-high.

Steeleville's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-3. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Dupo, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.
