Volleyball Recap: Bryan Station Takes a Loss

Bryan Station lost against West Jessamine back in October of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Defenders fell 3-1 to the Colts.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-19, 25-27, 25-19.

Cameron Owens paced Bryan Station's offense, picking up 28 kills. Owens got some help from Nyalie Locke and her 29 assists. Locke also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Lily Howard, racking up two apiece.

Bryan Station has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. As for West Jessamine, they pushed their record up to 4-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Bryan Station will challenge Lexington Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for West Jessamine, they will square off against Mercer County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Colts' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
