Volleyball Recap: Westville Comes Up Short

Westville and Washington Township squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Westville had to settle for second. They came up short against the Senators, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Blackhawks in their meetings with the Senators: they've now lost five in a row.

Tyler Massengill paced Westville's offense, picking up ten kills. Massengill got some help from Wyatt Oberle and his 12 assists.

Westville's defeat dropped their record down to 8-18. As for Washington Township, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 18-3.

Westville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Washington Township, they have already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Chesterton on the 17th.
