Volleyball Recap: Wisner-Pilger Comes Up Short

Wisner-Pilger was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Riverside Chargers. The Gators were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chargers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-20, 25-20.

Jesa Montgomery paced Wisner-Pilger's offense, picking up nine kills. Montgomery got some help from Ramsey Arduser and her 21 assists. Charlee Thies controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Wisner-Pilger's loss dropped their record down to 13-19. As for Riverside, they pushed their record up to 24-4 with the win, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season.

Wisner-Pilger didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Lutheran-Northeast on the 27th. As for Riverside, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Burwell on the 27th.
