Basketball Recap: Yazoo City Takes a Loss

Yazoo City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 41-37 heartbreaker at the hands of the Holmes County Central Jaguars. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 47-44 last Tuesday.

Yazoo City's defeat dropped their record down to 17-8. As for Holmes County Central, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-12.

Yazoo City has already played their next game (against Cleveland Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Holmes County Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 54-53 loss against Gentry on the 3rd.
