Soccer Game Preview: Buffalo Grove vs. Rolling Meadows

Buffalo Grove is on a five-game streak of home losses, and Rolling Meadows a four-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Buffalo Grove Bison will host the Rolling Meadows Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

On Thursday, Buffalo Grove came up short against Hoffman Estates and fell 3-1. While losing is never fun, Buffalo Grove can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 288th, while Hoffman Estates are ranked 107th).

Meanwhile, Rolling Meadows fell victim to Crystal Lake South and their airtight defense on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gators.

Rolling Meadows' loss dropped their record down to 2-11-4. As for Buffalo Grove, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-14-3.

Buffalo Grove couldn't quite get it done against Rolling Meadows when the teams last played back in September of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Bison avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
