Soccer Recap: Southwest Legacy's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Southwest Legacy kept a clean sheet against Winn on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Winn Mavericks by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-0 back in January.

Samantha Mendez and Naomi Higa scored both of Southwest Legacy's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

Southwest Legacy's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-8. As for Winn, they are on a 16-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-16.

Coincidentally, Southwest Legacy and Winn will both be playing McCollum the next time they take the pitch. Winn will head out to face McCollum at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while Southwest Legacy will host them at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
